The Tomb of Wayward Images
A website cataloging and honoring images that have left the land of the living. Whether through broken code, defunct websites, or file-sharing services ceasing support, these broken images shall be mourned regardless of cause of death— this digital graveyard takes in all.

The exhibit was intentionally left to look ‘simplistic’, to make users approach the project as they would their own computer. Candles were used not only to attract passersby, but to also set the ‘mood’ of this being a place of mourning. The strange contrast of emotions elicited humor and confusion, but seemed to make users more reflective when the project was further elaborated on.
